Brooks was raised in North Carolina. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a yeoman (administrative assistant). During his naval career, he traveled extensively around the world, living in places many people only dream about: Belgium, Scotland, the Azores and Hawaii to name just a few.
While serving in the military Brooks obtained a degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Maryland. After completing 20 years of military service, he pursued other career opportunities before deciding to return to the administrative field, finding a good fit with Causey Wright. He has since become a workers’ compensation paralegal, with a particular interest in navigating to waters of the vocational retraining process to the benefit of our clients.
When not working, Brooks can be found at home in West Seattle. He enjoys reading, movies, dining out, and taking his golden retrievers, Thor and Penny, to Lincoln Park.
